BRUCE R. CONNOLLY
Bruce R. Connolly practices in the areas of matrimonial and family law, criminal defense, and general civil litigation. At Raiser & Kenniff, P.C., Bruce has handled many complex matters involving divorce, custody, and domestic violence. On the criminal side, Bruce has successfully defended hundreds of clients charged with various misdemeanors and felonies. At the start of his legal career, Bruce was a summer intern at the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office and then worked as an associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP.
Bruce graduated from Notre Dame Law School in 2007, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science at Fordham University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Bruce is also a proud alumnus of Regis High School in Manhattan.
Mr. Connolly is a member of the bar of New York State, and he is admitted to practice in the federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Regis High School Bar Association.
Bruce has been selected by Super Lawyers as a New York Metro Rising Star in 2016 and 2016.
Bruce lives in Astoria with his wife, who is a marketing professional, and their young daughter. He enjoys traveling, running, and attending professional and cultural events in New York City.
